Richard Burrell, CEO of AMP, said, "We're looking forward to meeting farmers, land owners and customers at Energy Now. With electricity price rises making the news headlines there’s never been a better time to explore how biomass wood fuel can deliver cost effective heating solutions for your organisation’s needs. We’ve become the go-to provider for complete biomass installations for the commercial sector where we manage and finance the entire process from feasibility to procurement through to commissioning and fuelling. The customer doesn’t have to find any of the capital cost – they simply pay for the heat they use on the meter on a long term assured agreement".
New for 2017 is the Forest Fuels’ Wood Fuel Challenge. It’s a free to enter competition specifically for visitors to the AMP Forest Fuels stand at Energy Now to have the chance to win a brand new iPad Mini. To win all you need to do is work out how much energy in kWh there is contained within the Forest Fuels tube on the stand. It’s a purpose built see-through acrylic tube, half filled with wood pellet and half filled with wood chip. The person who visits the stand and guesses the exact energy in kWh that there is in the tube will win the iPad Mini. It takes seconds to enter-come along to see AMP Forest Fuels on stand 7 where you can see the full rules of entry on display.
The event provides the chance to discuss any and all aspects of running biomass successfully and effectively. From RHI to optimising your fuel store and biomass boiler for efficiency; there’s a lot of variables around setting up a system and we encourage dialogue about the wood fuel provision and delivery at the earliest stage possible. It can save an awful lot of time and money later by getting us involved right from the early project planning phase. AMP’s Forest Fuels team will be pleased to offer our help and advice.
AMP’s Forest Fuels customer account management team will be on hand to handle any questions and enquiries you may have all day on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th February on stand 7.
Mark Tarry, CFO at AMP said, “Energy Now is an important event in our calendar because it opens the door on lots of discussions with people who are genuinely interested in taking advantage of what we offer. We’ve secured a number of commercial biomass boiler buy-backs where we’ve given cash upfront to the boiler owner and taken over all operational responsibility under a long term, insurance backed agreement. With the backdrop of fossil fuel prices inherent volatility, customers find the prospect of de-coupling from them along with de-risking the whole process, a very attractive proposition.”
The show offers a wide variety of interesting exhibitors and this year the conference theme is Renewable Energy in a Post Subsidy World. You can find out about latest developments, products and there’s a series of key-note sessions and energy-specific presentations.
